Letter of Introduction from MDA duly signed by DHRM<br \/>2. Letter of Appointment<br \/>3. Confirmation of Appointment (Gazette of Confirmation)<br \/>4. Official ID Card<br \/>5. Applicant Passport<br \/>6. PFA Certificate<br \/>7. Applicant\u2019s Current Payslip<br \/>8. Guarantor\u2019s Confirmation of Appointment<br \/>9. Guarantor\u2019s Official ID Card<br \/>10. Guarantor\u2019s passport<br \/>11. Guarantor\u2019s Current Payslip<br \/>12. Deed of Guarantor\u2019s Form 1 (to be downloaded from the website)<br \/>13. Deed of Guarantor\u2019s Form 2 (to be downloaded from the website)<br \/>14. Declaration of HOD, Court Affidavit Form (to be downloaded from the website)<br \/>15. Declaration of Next of Kin Form (to be downloaded from the website)<br \/>16. Documents and Investigation Form (to be downloaded from the website)<br \/>17. Letter of Offer by the Developers (Purchasing Loan)<br \/>18. Letter of Undertaking by the Developer (Purchasing Loan)<br \/>19. Certificate of Occupancy (Building Loan)<br \/>20. Building Plan Building Loan)<br \/>21. Cost Estimate (Building Loan)<\/p><p data-start=\"2142\" data-end=\"2254\"><strong data-start=\"2142\" data-end=\"2252\">If the Borrower retires or disengages while the loan is unpaid, the Board may exercise foreclosure unless:<\/strong><\/p><ul data-start=\"2255\" data-end=\"2508\"><li data-start=\"2255\" data-end=\"2284\"><p data-start=\"2257\" data-end=\"2284\">The loan is fully repaid.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2285\" data-end=\"2353\"><p data-start=\"2287\" data-end=\"2353\">The Borrower\u2019s estate makes satisfactory repayment arrangements.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2354\" data-end=\"2434\"><p data-start=\"2356\" data-end=\"2434\">The property is insured (first year by Board, subsequent years by Borrower).<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2435\" data-end=\"2508\"><p data-start=\"2437\" data-end=\"2508\">Borrower pays stamp duties, registration, and other related expenses.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2510\" data-end=\"2707\"><strong data-start=\"2510\" data-end=\"2527\">Loan ceiling:<\/strong> Applicants are entitled up to <strong data-start=\"2558\" data-end=\"2626\">9 times their annual salary or \u20a615,000,000 (whichever is lower).<\/strong> Any excess house cost must be paid by the applicant before final disbursement.<\/p><hr data-start=\"3090\" data-end=\"3093\" \/><h3 data-start=\"3095\" data-end=\"3133\"><strong data-start=\"3099\" data-end=\"3131\">PENALTIES FOR FAKE DOCUMENTS<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"3134\" data-end=\"3184\">Presentation of fake documents to secure a loan:<\/p><ol data-start=\"3185\" data-end=\"3377\"><li data-start=\"3185\" data-end=\"3269\"><p data-start=\"3188\" data-end=\"3269\">Is misconduct punishable under PSR Chapter 3, Section 3, Rules 030301 &amp; 030401.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3270\" data-end=\"3320\"><p data-start=\"3273\" data-end=\"3320\">Constitutes corrupt practices under ICPC Act.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3321\" data-end=\"3377\"><p data-start=\"3324\" data-end=\"3377\">Amounts to \u201cALTERING\u201d \u2013 a crime under Nigerian law.<\/p><\/li><\/ol><p data-start=\"3379\" data-end=\"3455\">Officers involved shall face disciplinary action and possible prosecution.<\/p><hr data-start=\"3457\" data-end=\"3460\" \/><h3 data-start=\"3664\" data-end=\"3683\"><strong data-start=\"3668\" data-end=\"3681\">REPAYMENT<\/strong><\/h3><ul data-start=\"3684\" data-end=\"3968\"><li data-start=\"3684\" data-end=\"3743\"><p data-start=\"3686\" data-end=\"3743\">All loans must be repaid within <strong data-start=\"3718\" data-end=\"3740\">25 years (minimum)<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3744\" data-end=\"3850\"><p data-start=\"3746\" data-end=\"3850\">Repayment years depend on applicant\u2019s age or first appointment date (whichever determines retirement).<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3851\" data-end=\"3968\"><p data-start=\"3853\" data-end=\"3968\">Repayment begins immediately after receiving the first installment (for building, land, or house purchase loans).<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"3970\" data-end=\"3973\" \/><h3 data-start=\"3975\" data-end=\"3995\"><strong data-start=\"3979\" data-end=\"3993\">RETIREMENT<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"3996\" data-end=\"4160\">Applicants who retire before full repayment must make alternative arrangements to liquidate outstanding balances from non-salary sources as government may direct.<\/p><hr data-start=\"4162\" data-end=\"4165\" \/><h3 data-start=\"4167\" data-end=\"4182\"><strong data-start=\"4171\" data-end=\"4180\">DEATH<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"4183\" data-end=\"4333\">If a borrower dies before repayment, the Board may seize the mortgaged property unless the representative makes satisfactory repayment arrangements.<\/p><hr data-start=\"4335\" data-end=\"4338\" \/><h3 data-start=\"4340\" data-end=\"4361\"><strong data-start=\"4344\" data-end=\"4359\">RESIGNATION<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"4362\" data-end=\"4465\">If an officer resigns or is dismissed before full repayment, the Board may seize the property unless:<\/p><ol data-start=\"4466\" data-end=\"4557\"><li data-start=\"4466\" data-end=\"4500\"><p data-start=\"4469\" data-end=\"4500\">The outstanding loan is paid.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4501\" data-end=\"4557\"><p data-start=\"4504\" data-end=\"4557\">Borrower makes satisfactory repayment arrangements.<\/p><\/li><\/ol><hr data-start=\"4559\" data-end=\"4562\" \/><h3 data-start=\"4564\" data-end=\"4590\"><strong data-start=\"4568\" data-end=\"4588\">CLEARANCE LETTER<\/strong><\/h3><ul data-start=\"4591\" data-end=\"4787\"><li data-start=\"4591\" data-end=\"4695\"><p data-start=\"4593\" data-end=\"4695\">All retiring officers must obtain a <strong data-start=\"4629\" data-end=\"4649\">clearance letter<\/strong> from the Board confirming non-indebtedness.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4696\" data-end=\"4787\"><p data-start=\"4698\" data-end=\"4787\">The clearance\/indemnity form must be completed <strong data-start=\"4745\" data-end=\"4784\">at least 3 months before retirement<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"4789\" data-end=\"4792\" \/><h3 data-start=\"4794\" data-end=\"4813\"><strong data-start=\"4798\" data-end=\"4811\">INSURANCE<\/strong><\/h3><ul data-start=\"4814\" data-end=\"5041\"><li data-start=\"4814\" data-end=\"4924\"><p data-start=\"4816\" data-end=\"4924\">Houses built, purchased, or renovated under this scheme must be insured against fire, flood, or lightning.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4925\" data-end=\"4993\"><p data-start=\"4927\" data-end=\"4993\">Insurance is taken in the joint names of the Board and Borrower.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4994\" data-end=\"5041\"><p data-start=\"4996\" data-end=\"5041\">Premium is deducted from Borrower\u2019s salary.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"5043\" data-end=\"5046\" \/><h3 data-start=\"5048\" data-end=\"5065\"><strong data-start=\"5052\" data-end=\"5063\">LETTING<\/strong><\/h3><ul data-start=\"5066\" data-end=\"5251\"><li data-start=\"5066\" data-end=\"5158\"><p data-start=\"5068\" data-end=\"5158\">Houses obtained with Board loans must not be let or sub-let until repayment is complete.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"5159\" data-end=\"5251\"><p data-start=\"5161\" data-end=\"5251\">If rent is collected, the Board may require a portion to be paid towards loan repayment.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GUIDELINES \u00a0 REQUIREMENTS FOR LOAN If the loan is required for building, completing, or extending a house, the following documents are required: 1.
