Mission

To provide eligible Federal Public Servants with soft housing loans, to build, renovate or purchase their own houses in any part of Nigeria in a seamless and efficient manner."

Mandate

Manage a revolving fund to grant soft loans to all eligible Federal Public Servants within the limits of available resources and in accordance with relevant regulations to build residential houses, purchase already built ones or improve/extend already-existing residential houses anywhere in Nigeria

EXECUTIVE SECRETARY

Ahmed Salamatu Ladi, a committed public servant, was born on July 27, 1971, in Kano State.

She attended Shekarau Boarding Primary School in Kabo. A product of Government Girls’ secondary school, Kabo.

She holds an M.Sc. degree in Banking & Finance, a PGD in Banking & Finance, and a B.Sc. in Political Science, all from Bayero University Kano.

Ahmed Salamatu Ladi was employed in the federal civil service as Personnel Officer II and posted to the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs, Abuja, in 1993.

She was posted to the Board in 2009 and has served the Board in several capacities, including Head of Board Secretariat, Head of Budget, Assistant Director Operations, Acting Head of Operations Department, Deputy Director Overseeing Federal Government Staff Housing Loans, and the Head of Operations Department where she grew to the position of a Director with effect from 1st January, 2022.

On June 2, 2024, she was appointed as the Executive Secretary of the Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Board by His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President of Federal Republic of Nigeria.

She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management of Nigeria, a Doctoral Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Human Resources Management (CIHRM), a fellow of Certified Human Resource Professionals (CHRP), and a fellow of the International Dispute Resolution Institute.

She is also a recipient of so many Merit Awards.

Ahmed Salamatu Ladi is happily married and blessed with children and grandchildren.

BUILDING LOAN

Our Building Loans offering is for Federal Government staff who already have land owned by them and need funds for financing the construction of the residential house property on the land.

HOME RENOVATION LOAN

Our home renovation loan is a loan that includes funds for renovating, remodeling, and repairing a home for any Federal Government staff. It’s usually a mortgage with extra money for home improvements.

FISH LOAN

Federal Integrated Staff Housing (FISH), an initiative by the Office of Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) to provide affordable housing to federal public servants by accessing housing loans from FGSHLB.
