The Funds of the Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Scheme is drawn from  repayment of housing loans by beneficiaries of the Loan’s Scheme.  The Federal Government of Nigeria  from time to time provides additional funds to address the mandate of the Board to meet the housing needs of Federal Public Servants, thereby motivating them to implement the programmes of Government.

The Board is also in partnership with Ministry of finance incorporated (MOFI) Real Estate Investment Fund (MREIF) to provide long term low-cost mortgages to federal public servants.
