\nIBRAHIM MAIRIGA RECEIVES APPLAUSE FOR EXCELLENT SERVICE DELIVERY AT FGSHLB<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The former Executive Secretary of the Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Board,\u00a0 Ibrahim Abdu Mairiga, has been commended for his astounding leadership that led to the successes recorded during his tenure in the Board<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
The Director, overseeing Permanent Secretary office, Service Welfare Office in the office of the Head of\u00a0 Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), Dr. Comfort Adeosun gave the commendation during a sendforth programme organized by the board\u00a0 to mark his exit from Service<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
She stated that this had encouraged staff commitment to work.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
Dr. Adeosun, who is also the acting chairman of the Board’s Governing Council, assured that the members\u00a0 will ride on Mairiga’s remarkable legacies to ensure that the board is taken to the next level.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
She urged the staff to emulate the former Executive Secretary’s attitude of discipline and excellence to ensure that the Board fulfilled its mandate of ensuring affordable housing for civil servants.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
In her welcome remarks, the Board’s Executive Secretary, Hajiya Salamatu Ladi Ahmed, recalled Mairiga’s dedication to duty and passion for the job, which she said, has impacted greatly on the Management and staff of the Board<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
When he was appointed, she said, “we were told that he is a thorough officer, and as he reported to duty, he will always fix our management meetings every Monday morning at 8 am, as a result, we got used to reporting to duty very early daily and closing late, all in the bid to ensure that our jobs were done thoroughly.”\u00a0<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
While thanking him for his mentorship and selfless service to the nation, Hajiya Salamatu wished Mallam Mairiga a happy and fulfilling retirement life.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
\u00a0Ibrahim Mairiga, in his response, thanked all those present to honour him as he bows out of service after his four-year tenure in\u00a0 Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Board<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
He assured that he would always be available to render service to the board whenever the need arises.<\/div>
